If you are hesitating about what to give a friend, colleague or relative, quality cheese can help. Cottage cheese is my favorite way to try new and interesting artisan cheeses every month and some local food and snack combinations to go with them.

Why it’s a great gift: Curdbox sends out three 4-ounce blocks of different small-batch cheeses each month, along with delicious snacks and other food combinations, including crackers, nut mixes, tapenades, jams and preserves. In addition to the delicious dishes – presented in gift packages – you will receive information about each product and suggestions for pairing wines. Curdbox even curates a special Spotify playlist for each month’s box so you can have some cheese fun. What will you pay?: Curdbox is $50 for one month (plus shipping), but drops to $47.75 if you opt for a longer subscription and pay in advance. I think this is an excellent deal considering everything included in the monthly shipment. There’s also a $100 wine pairing add-on, though we haven’t tried Curdbox wines yet.
