Today, English football turns its attention to the world’s oldest national cup competition. A blockbuster fourth-round clash between the two top teams in the English Premier League kicks off the FA Cup weekend as Man City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
This cup clash looks likely to set the tone for the crucial Premier League clash between the two title contenders next month. The teams haven’t played each other in over a year and a lot has changed since City beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates. City sold striker Gabriel Jesus and full-back Aleksandar Zinchenko to Arsenal in the summer and they look like a team reborn: Arsenal currently have a five-point lead over City at the top of the EPL.
