Introducing the Fief Protocol

Points of Influence (IP) are unique to Fief, a non-transferable, off-chain currency that draws inspiration from the in-game currencies found in popular Web 2 game titles. With IP, Fief Protocol can add a gated mechanism and additional rewards to their dapps that allow the platform to attract users and liquidity while maintaining sustainable alignment with the Fief economy.
The Fief protocol is built on top of the file feudalism, an open-world voxel RPG that lets players control a unique Avatar to explore, battle, craft, and more. Fiefverse acts as a stable and growing source of IP, further supporting its usefulness within the dapp Protocol Fief layer.
While developing the main Fiefverse game title, the team plans to release a series of mini-games, starting with the Wave Defense title in the first quarter of 2023. These mini-games are free to play and reward players with IP as well as other in-game items.
Fief Protocol currently features the FIEF Staking dapp and the Fief Shop, which allows users to purchase Fiefverse items using an IP. In the coming weeks, Fief Protocol will launch feudal chata forum and direct messaging app built on top of influence points and avatars, and Looting farmswhich is an IP gated staking dapp that features many types of rewards.
About the FIEF code
FIEF is the official utility symbol for the Fief protocol. FIEF can be wagered to unlock voting rights and earn DeFi and game prizes.
The primary use case for FIEF is the permanent production of an IP when betting. Currently, each monitored FIEF produces 0.03 IP per day. Stakers of FIEF enjoy a steady stream of in-game currency rewards that they can spend freely. Over time, the FIEF stack will earn voting rights to dictate the distribution of ETH fees generated via dapps on the Fief Protocol to Loot Farms.
This system aligns purchase demand and participation in FIEF with the desire of third-party metaverse projects to pay rewards of ETH to their in-game assets, including fungible in-game coins and NFTs.
