Master & Dynamic makes some really nice headphones, including MW75an Apple AirPods Max competitor, and freshly updated MH40, which includes new drivers and a new chipset that provides improved sound and performance. However, they are expensive, with the MH40 costing $399 and the MW75 running $599, and deep discounts are rarely seen. That’s why I’m highlighting the company’s 30% off “friends and family sale” which is activated when the code is applied GIVET30 checkout. Sale ends April 10th.
I’m a fan of the MW75, which comes in multiple color options and is ours list of best headphones 2023, but it’s out of most people’s price range. With that 30% off, however, you’re getting about $180 off, so you’re looking at $420. Meanwhile, the new MH40 gets a $120 to $279 price tag.

All Master & Dynamic headphones are well made (they’re sturdy) and have a unique retro-modern look. The MW75 sounds slightly better than the new MH40 and features active noise cancellation. But the MH40 sounds more precise than its predecessor, with support for AAC and AptX audio codecs, and also has improved voice call performance. You can also plug its USB-C cable into a computer or Android smartphone for a wired digital connection for high-resolution audio.
I like Master & Dynamic’s $299 MW08 headphones, which are certainly more tempting at around $210 (with the 30% off code). But keep in mind that these have been out for a while and MW09 may be on the horizon.
