Here are some recent five-star reviews of the Apple Podcasts app in Apple’s own App Store.

Pushkin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If reality is a construction and every postmodern self creates its own “own” reality, then let’s all just say fuck it and move on to the reality called Clavanon. At least we don’t have to look at our pants to see who we are.
Maybe slow down the sound? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Benigno has always been my favorite, but the sound seems to be fast
A real inspiration ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I find you a very down-to-earth, real person. You have remarkable guests and you discuss topics that are related and relevant and really help in life.

Enjoy these boys and the passion they feel for the native spirit of America.
Absolute pleasure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love the podcast. To be honest, I’m partly biased because Ben liked two of my Facebook posts.
Law! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I enjoy the fact that I learned things, despite the fact that not all of them or what I want to hear. Thank you daughter-in-law, you are very good at your job!
Makes me laugh! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I would never put these 3 together, but boy, they are a hysterical combination. My new favorite!
That’s right: these are reviews of the podcasts themselves, not the Apple Podcasts app.
And that’s it exceptional a convenient situation for Apple because the actual reviews of the Apple Podcasts app definitely do no trend towards five stars. In fact, they tend to terrible score of 1.8 stars because the app has been remarkably buggy for months. Like many 1-star reviewers, I find that it doesn’t keep track of which episodes I’ve already played and sometimes plays them back incorrectly.
But in the almost three months since I helped point that out On the edge and brought it directly to Apple’s attention, the only thing that has changed is that Apple’s Podcasts rating has gone up from 4.7 to 4.9 – and each of its five small gray stars is now fully completed for an overall five-star rating.

The app has not received any updates during this time, by the way. Every part of the newly discovered goodwill is the people who suddenly send podcast reviews instead of app reviews.
Here are Apple’s three “most useful” reviews of the app to date:

But why would Apple change any of this? It seems to work great for Apple.
