Gabrielle Union And Dwyane Wade’s 4-Year-Old Hilariously Weighs In On 50/50 Debate

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s 4-year-old daughter, Kaavia, has some thoughts on financial contributions after the recent uproar online over her mother’s remarks about how the household splits expenses.

The actor revealed that she and Wade “split everything 50/50” in an interview with Bloomberg Finance earlier this month.

But apparently Kaavia gets the short end of the stick.

The toddler was caught saying she was contributing “60” in a video posted on Tuesday to her Instagram account run by Wade and Union.

The 4-year-old was answering a series of Union questions that jokingly asked the preschooler about paying taxes and her financial contribution to household expenses. Kaavia’s response made Union fall down laughing.

“It’s weird to say that I’m the head of the household, because in this household we split everything 50-50,” Union said during the May 8 interview with Bloomberg. She added that she and Wade provide financial support for other households.

Many people on Twitter suggested the actor, producer and entrepreneur leave more — or all — expenses to Wade, a retired NBA star.

But the Union has he seemed unfazed from the chatter about her financial arrangement; she post a video on Instagram last week, mocking the backlash.

In the video, the actor is seen happily dancing and sharing a kiss with Wade.

“I love when he matches my energy, 50/50 here,” she captioned the post.
