The network announced the launch of FVM in September at the FIL conference in Singapore, promising that the software platform will support a range of user programmable applications such as persistent storage, storage replication, repair automation, and fluid stabilization through block rewards. The platform also has the potential to support the creation of data-focused, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), which would facilitate pay-per-view transactions and the creation of Web3 games, among other applications.
