Better Call Saul actor Bob Odenkirk has put his fears to rest as he talks about the heart attack last year that left him ‘minutes’ away from death.
Odekirk, the star of the hit legal drama and “Breaking Bad” spinoff, collapsed and suffered what he called a “little heart attack” while filming the final season of his show in New Mexico in July 2021.
“I guess I said, ‘I don’t feel very good,'” Odenkirk said.
The actor described his “Better Call Sol” co-stars Patrick Fabian and Rhea Seahorn grabbing him and “yelling” him to stay alive.
“I wasn’t breathing. I mean, if no one had been there, if they hadn’t done that CPR, I would have been dead in minutes,” Odenkirk told the magazine.
“Better Call Saul,” which is nominated for best drama series at next month’s Emmy Awards, will come to an end Monday when it ends its sixth and final season.
